Salt Lake Home Sales and Prices Keep Climbing
Homes sold in May in Salt Lake County climbed 5 percent to 1,758 units, up from 1,679 units in May 2015. The median sales price increased to $273,000, up from $255,000 a year earlier. In Davis County, home sales rose 4 percent to 505 units sold, up from 485 units year-over-year. The median price of a home sold in Davis County in May jumped to $260,000, up from $224,500 in May 2015. In Salt Lake there is a 2.1-month supply of inventory, down from 3.3 months a year ago.
